Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Feelive ("we," "our," or "the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use the Feelive app, which captures your screen and front-camera reactions.
2. Information We Collect
Locally stored videos: Videos you record are saved on your device as drafts until you choose to share them. We do not access or upload these drafts unless you initiate sharing.
Shared content: Videos and related metadata you choose to share are uploaded to our servers so we can deliver the service (feeds, friends, messaging, and similar features).
Account information: If you register, we collect information you provide (such as username, email, and profile details) as needed to operate your account.
Usage and diagnostics (Google Firebase): We use Google Firebase services integrated into the app. Depending on how you use the app, these services may process:
- Firebase Analytics: App opens, navigation and screen views, and feature-related events (for example authentication, uploads, playback, edits, messaging, and social actions). Events may include technical parameters (such as device or app identifiers, coarse region from IP as processed by Google, timestamps, success or failure indicators, IDs you already use in the app like user or content IDs where our code attaches them, and similar metadata).
- Firebase Crashlytics: Crash and stability data (such as stack traces and device/OS information) to diagnose and fix issues.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): A push-notification token associated with your device so we can deliver notifications you opt into.
- Firebase App Check: Signals from Google Play integrity checks (and, in developer builds, debug providers) used to reduce abuse of our backends; Google may process related device or integrity data as described in Google's documentation.
Firebase services do not receive your drafted (unpublished) video files for analytics solely because of this integration; they process the categories above as implemented in our app.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Operate video recording, editing, sharing, recommendations, messaging, and related features
- Maintain account security and reduce fraud or abuse
- Measure how the app is used and improve reliability, performance, and product decisions
- Deliver notifications where you enable them
- Comply with law and enforce our terms
4. How We Share Information
Shared videos: Content you publish is visible according to the audience and privacy settings you choose (for example public feed, friends, or private to you).
Service providers: We use vendors that process data on our behalf to run the service. That includes Google LLC for Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, and App Check as described above). Google's handling of information is subject to Google's policies and product terms; you can read more at Firebase Privacy and Security and Google Privacy Policy.
Sale of personal information: We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. Some privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly (for example sharing with partners for cross-context behavioral advertising). We use Firebase for app operations, analytics, notifications, and security as described here, not to monetize a separate list of our users.
Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
5. Security
Draft videos stay on your device until you choose to share them.
We use technical and organizational measures we believe appropriate for the service; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Delete videos you uploaded and manage each video's audience where the app supports it.
- Request account deletion (and deletion of associated server-held content tied to your account) by contacting us; we may need to verify your request.
- Disable push notifications through your device or in-app settings where available.
- Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you additional rights (for example access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, or opt-out of certain uses). Contact us to exercise those rights.
7. Children
Feelive is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
8. International Users
Our servers or service providers may be located outside your country. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards or legal bases for such transfers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version in the app and adjust the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy unless applicable law requires a different approach.
